Let's get Lost

We ventured into Prague a few days ago and my breath was taken away, both literally and metaphorically. To have everything you could want to see walking distance or tram distance away is so amazing because we can see as much as we want without having to get a cab. The experience of Prague is one that I have been waiting for since we started planning this trip. I've been so excited to get into a city that everyone has raved about. The buildings are beautiful, the shops are really cute and it's so fun getting to be in a different country with friends. I absolutely love it here and the adventures are so exciting.

Some of my favorite adventures are the ones when we go off in small groups. We almost always get lost and find some really cool things every time we venture. There was one adventure, after realizing we got the time wrong for an opera and we had extra time and went into a park and had a bit of a photo shoot.

The best part of that was when some of our group went and climbed a tree, that ended hilariously because as one dropped back to the ground, the other got stuck and decided they weren't going to be able to come down. It took about ten minutes to slowly maneuver her and get her in a spot where she could crawl out of the tree and back on the ground. Then she proceeds to get in another tree, not as far though, and that's where we met some swan friends that we thought were going to bite us. Although this day was a funny adventure, the next day was even better.

In the morning our entire group went to an old instrument museum and looked at some old piano, string, woodwind, and brass instruments. That was really interesting to see what came before the modern instruments that we all know and play. After we finished that and went as saw the Lennon wall, a wall with a bunch of art and graffiti to recognize John Lennon and how he promoted peace and love. Afterwords we broke off from each other and that's when we proceeded to get very lost and three of us ended up at a cemetery and found Davorak's grave.
We were not expecting to see this
When we split off from the group we first went to the open market to look at the merchant tents there. We didn't want to stay there, so we tried finding something to do. We took a tram for about five minutes that took us out of the main part of the city and walked uphill into this medieval style town and found a stunning church, with a stunning view of the city below and then the cemetery. We were trying to figure out if there was any significance to the cemetery when we looked over and saw the grave with the name and bust of Dvorak. We were absolutely baffled how three lost girls in Prague who just wanted to go to a park and church stumbled in front of a grave of an amazing and accomplish composer. It was quite the moment and it's definitely going into the book of memories for today.
